Experimental Adobe features will allow you to edit files even faster
During the Adobe MAX 2019 conference, the company presented projects that it intends to develop in the near future. Among them is a function that facilitates the creation of group photos, a tool for detecting photomanipulation and the option of automatically cutting out unwanted sounds from interviews.
The Sneaks panel takes place twice a year during Adobe Summit and MAX. Then the software manufacturer shows new products developed by its employees from the research department. Most of them eventually go to Adobe's flagship programs, e.g. the Content Aware Fill tool. This year we saw many interesting features.
All In project, i.e. easy cutting out of characters and combining them in photos
It is often the case that when taking group photos, two people take photos alternately. This means that there is always someone missing in the photo. Of course, you can use a tripod and self-timer, but there is always an opportunity. In the post-production process, you can manually cut a person out of one photo and paste it into group photography, but it's a laborious job. Design All in is an algorithm that automatically identifies the missing person from the photo based on two photographs, cuts them out and sticks to the scene.
SoundSeek, or quickly getting rid of unwanted sounds
Adobe also thought of everyone who records podcasts, interviews, or registers their voice for some other purpose. The SoundSeek tool can find any unwanted sound in the recording, e.g. the sound of a trumpeting car from the street, or cutscenes like "yyyy …", "eeee …". It is enough to indicate such a sample in the program that the algorithm will find all similar sounds and cut them out from the recording in a natural way.
Quick animation based on an audio file
A project that animators will enjoy most. This feature allows you to create a speech animation from any 2D image (sketch, comic book, photo). All you have to do is mark the character's lips and then select the sound file with the registered voice.
Image Tango – Adobe artificial intelligence like a designer
This tool will certainly facilitate the work of designers. It involves creating realistic photos based on simple sketches and photos. In the video below you can see several examples. At first, the user draws a very simple diagram of the bird, and then shows the software a photo of the bird whose plumage color he likes. AI combines these two things and creates a picture of an animal that doesn't really exist. In the same way you can play a genetics engineer and combine two photos of different animals so that the program shows us their hybrid.
Adobe will detect photomanipulations
Adobe Photoshop is an essential tool in the work of graphics and photographer. While minor retouching doesn't hurt anyone, in the age of fake news you have to reckon with the fact that not everything we see in the picture is true. That's why Adobe has an algorithm that with very high accuracy can not only indicate that the photo has been processed, but can show us which specific elements have been changed.
