WhatsApp will now tell you how many times you have sent the message and will play all voice memos at once
Facebook has been trying to fight the spread of false information on all its platforms for a long time and often implements updates to help overcome news fake. This time it fell on the WhatsApp version for Android, where pretty interesting functionality is being tested.
In principle, we can talk about a few changes here – the first one is the introduction of a counter showing how many times we have forwarded the message.
This change is of course applicable if we are people spreading fake messages and we want to check if we do our job well. The function could be useful if the counter were visible to us also when previewing other users, but for some reason Facebook did not come up with this idea.
The second new feature is the automation of the voice memo playback system. It means that after receiving several audio messages in a row, we will not have to tap each one in turn to listen to the content. Now just click on the play button of the first message and the rest will be done for us.
The last small change is the inclusion of information about the exact name of the audio file that we will send or receive. The matter is so strange that the photos or video of such a signature do not have, so it is not entirely clear why the developers have decided to implement such functionality just for voice messages.
All described changes can be tested in the WhatsApp beta version number 2.19.86, which can be downloaded after signing up for the beta program.
